2008 Gelding by Lansing out of Gingermeg (The Graduate).

'Baz' has had consistent wins up to mini prix this season and won the 1.30-40 title at the National Showjumping Championships. We are all excited about this guy's future, he is very careful and scopey.

2010 Gelding by One eye (Corland) out of a Ngahiwi bred mare by Indoctro. We purchased Fletch as a rising 3year old from Bruce Holden. Fletch jumped successfully around 6 year olds last season including 3rd in the South Island 6 year old class and plenty of double clears. He will look to do the 7year old classes this year. I am very excited about the future of this guy, he has a great brain and looks to have a very scopey jump.

2012 Lordano/Grosvener gelding owned in partnership with Kay Buckley. Perry went to his first show this year and is showing a lot of promise as a youngster. I'm very excited about his future.

2011.15.11 homebred Mare by Thomas RF out of Abbey (Yammanin Vital). Approx 15.2hh, has been to a handful of shows this year showing loads of scope and great technique around small tracks.

2012 crossbred gelding. Cruise has a gorgeous temperament and very tidy technique naturally over a fence. We're excited to produce him for sale over the next few months.

Breeding

In parallel with Katie's equestrian business, the family are running a limited show jumping breeding programme. Quality mares are put in foal to top New Zealand and European sires. We are planning to breed top jumping horses to be included into Katie's performance team

Our team of Broodmares includes...

  • Rio Madrid - Approx 16 years old. Maddie is Katie's old young rider champ. 2013 National Young Rider winner. 2x Intermediate of the year. Countless wins and placings in young riders classes.
  • Ngahiwi Cracker - 2006 mare by Ngahiwi Cupid out of Georgina (Panikau). Winner of South Island Foxhunter final 2015. Consistantly placed at Pro-Am and 1.30m and had starts at Mini Prix level before being retired due to an injury. Owned By Bruce Holden (Ngahiwi Stud)
  • Little Madge - 12 year old, 17hh Holsteiner by Corlando. Madge has offspring jumping in US and Australia successfully. We have a 2 year old by Lasino from her that we are very excited about. 
  • Vogue Blue NZPH - mare by Mr Blue. Was bought as a broodmare, I jumped her to 1.10 and she showed plenty of talent before being put back in foal.

  • Douglas SSNZ - 2012, 15hh homebred Gelding by Thomas RF out of Cricket (Tb Waikiki Star/Sir Tristram lines). Has now been broken in and is going well under saddle. He will head out to shows next season.
  • Juneau - 2013 Homebred Gelding by Lansing out of Abbey. 
  • Molly Madrid - 2014 Filly by Kannan out of Rio Madrid. We are all very excited for the future of Maddie's first foal.
  • Angus - 2014 Colt by Kannan out of Colours of Rain. Owned in partnership with Barry and Pauline Quigley.  Another exciting one for the future.
  • Stripes - 2015 Gelding by John Brodie out of Copper (tb mare). He will be for sale in the spring. 
  • Gem - 2016 filly by Emerald out of Tiny (by Lasino). Unfortunately she was orphaned at 3weeks old but she has done well being bucket fed and is now weaned with her mate 45year old Alfie. 
  • Spider - 2016 Colt by Emerald out of Vogue Blue NZPH (Mr Blue)
  • Lena - 2016 Filly by Cartell GNZ out of Rio Madrid

In his first season show jumping (2014/15) Spot won or placed in almost every Show hunter and Show jumping class he entered. 1st 1.15champ SCNO championship show. 2014/15 SCNO Show hunter Champion. 3rd SI Foxhunter Final 2015. Runner-up National Open Show hunter title. Next season we hope to build on Spot's show jumping, aiming for Pro-Am/1.30m classes.

2008 16.1hh Bay Gelding by Salute the Stars out of a TB mare (The Gladiator/Waikiki Star)

Tom was homebred by us and has been carefully produced. Jumping consistantly clear to 1.15m and is ready to be produced up the grades. As a 5year old he had a couple of starts at Pre-training very successfully. Schooling 1* XC very easily, he is bold and fun. Very established on the flat and has good enough movement to put in a winning test at the higher levels.

We broke Harvey in a few weeks ago and purely through a lack of time he has come back to be sold. A genuinely lovely guy with a fantastic brain. 3 great paces and a very correct natural jump. Sensible, straightforward and an all round really nice guy. I see Harvey being an incredibly fun all rounder, he has a good foundation and is totally ready to be getting out and about right now! A lovely straightforward horse to produce. AND he's yellow!

Show Jumping successfully, with wins and placings in basically every class this season, to 1.20m. Very careful, scopey and super quick in a jump off. Murray is a very sweet natured horse who is lovely to have around at home and at shows. Great to hack and loves the beach.

2009 Gelding by Anamour out of Centapulsexx (TV Heart Throb). Elmo has had a slow start to his career due to my being overseas. This season he finished up jumping double clears at 1m and winning/placing in many show hunter classes. Champion Low Hunter at Canterbury Champs 2015. A Stunning horse and an absolutely beautiful mover, next season we hope to aim Elmo towards straight dressage and eventing as we feel he could be an outstanding international event horse.

Good basics on the flat, jumping 1m at home, Been to one show where she jumped round the 70cm warm up show hunter really well. Absolutely beautiful manners. Sensitive mare with a huge jump who is ready to go. Would make a lovely all round jumper or dressage horse. $4000
